Garnetbank School
Garnetbank Public School is located in Renfrew Street. It was built in the Free Renaissance style of design and opened on 1st March 1900. The interesting thing for me is that there is a door that says Boys another door says Girls. In the first year the annual salaries were fixed, £80 for teachers and £250 for the headmaster. Nowadays, the school takes 250 pupils, ages 4-12, boys and girls. It is a Category B Listed Building. Schools and teachers are the best foundation and heritage of the world because knowledge has developed the world. By Hamed |
